Mumcat has responded to Advent and its call to reflection, waiting and anticipating the coming of the Lord. She is wrestling with the Old Testament prophets, those eighth century BCE folk who challenged the religious and political culture of their day. I am grateful that she is sharing with us her discipline of reading Jeremiah.

Much of the music on Sunday was about stirring us up, and waking us up. In a season of some discontent, its very encouraging to hear the meditations of Mumcat and others.
