darn it

Friends, partner and I started our knitting lesson tonight. Four men, two women. The women have been doing this for some time. One of them works at a knitting store.

Casting off, or getting started, just about became a deal breaker for me. My anxiety level was high, and I had a hard time catching onto the concept.

But I got several rows knitted tonight. I am making a winter scarf.

At some point this will be a mindless stress reducer, but for now, it is a little bit awkward. Lots of little mistakes and nervousness.
