And the good news is that Evensong took place this evening while the sun was setting outside the western window at the church (instead of us sitting in the dark of the church, night already outside at 6:00 pm).

The sun did shine today, at least up to the 40s (F), and snow and ice are disappearing. I saw my garden beds for the first time in weeks.

Before winter, I put out lots of larkspur seed. I am about to start the second round. I don't care which theory of putting the seed out works. I just want lots of patches of larkspur.
