forget about it

I was supposed to be a reader at the 8:00 am service this morning. I totally blanked on it.

At 9:15 am choir rehearsal, I remembered. Not good. I am fairly good about obligations, but the ability to forget something like this is always there.

In addition to my on-going absentmindedness, I have been very busy at work, and equally absorbed on weekends in my gardening. No excuse, just a little context. This time of year I come down with a major fever, the need to work and move and stay in the garden until I absolutely have to leave.
