In order to plant the roses, I needed to move my Japanese anemones, something I had started working on earlier this year. I dug all of them up. I ended up giving some more away, and creating four new beds of these plants. They get a little tall (so by bloom time I usually stake them), and provide airy pink flowers in September and October. They tolerate some shade and are prolific in reproducing.
