This issue has had me on the verge of tears for days. And sometimes I've gone over the verge. Why?

The feeling is immediate. I don't have to think myself into it by imagining that I'd been prevented from marrying my wife for 25 years. The feeling isn't connected to any particular friends who are getting married. Yet it's got a direct line to my heart.

The best I can figure, it's about hope.
