I thoroughly enjoyed this post by bookish gardener, citing a description of flowers in Korea.
Indiana is ablaze this week with its non-native state flower, the peony. Lots of clumps of pale pink and dark purplish-red flowers. We should be grateful that peonies grow so well here, a gift from Korea.
