I've got to start watering again, something I haven't had to do since April. The soil is drying out, and a good weekly soaking is in lieu of an inch of rain.
My larkspur is now a foot and a half or more high. I am hoping for blooms soon. The liatris are also starting to put on buds. The roses are mostly spent and I need to spray them and feed them, with some light pruning.
In the vegetable garden, the tomatoes are now waist high, with some green fruit. The pumpkin seeds germinated, and the beans are climbing up the netting. (all thanks to the work of neighbors). We use soaker hoses for this garden.
I now have four bluebonnet blooms, enough to make seed for future plants.
