A neighbor tells me last night that we have gotten over four inches of rain in the townlet over the past two days.

Lilacs are in their glory all over Indy, with their cascading cones of lavendar, purple and white.

The air is chilled, the ground is wet, and we get to enjoy the simple lilacs for a few days.
