Yesterday Partner and I drove up I-65 to Lafayette. Our choir sang a choral evensong with the choir of St. John. Their church is quite large -- it was once a cathedral seat.We had a long practice together and then sang the evensong service. The preacher was Bishop Maurício José Araújo of the Diocese of Brasilia in Brazil. (Brasilia and the Bor in Sudan are in a partner relationship with the Diocese of Indianapolis).
The host choir was very hospitable, both in making our choir members feel welcome during the rehearsal, and in providing a tasty reception afterwards.
