squish

It's snowing now, at the end of the day. It started as rain this morning. Nothing unexpected in this, just resignation that the two golden days previous, gifts in the midst of January, are now receding and we are returning to regular patterns. Except it may be warmer later in the week.

I give up worrying about sweet Texas and Arkansas and Oklahoma and New Mexico, all experiencing the lessons of how dust bowls are started, dry mostly, for the past three months. Or muddy California, getting too much rain.

My god-like powers to control weather are non-existent, so I might as well quit worrying.

But I will.
