sunday

It was the last Sunday of the season for the choir -- we normally sing through Trinity Sunday -- our parish feast day -- but this year the Association of Anglican Musicians are having their 40th anniversary convention in Indianapolis. So we have continued singing. Several AAM delegates were at church yesterday, and it was delightful to hear good singing coming from the nave.

Dr. Raymond Glover from Virginia Theological Seminary, and a general editor of the 1982 Hymnal, was the preacher in both services yesterday.

Tomorrow night, Tuesday, we will have a concert and compline service. We're singing Copeland's In The Beginning, and our sister choir, the professional Meridian Street Vocal Consort will perform a mass by Monteverdi.
