This morning, Blogger said, try the new beta-blogger. I said yes, and before you know it, I lost my blogroll. It's gone. Forever.
And now all these weird colors which I must blame on impulsive me and not necessarily the Google corporation.
UPDATE: I found the old blogroll and have patched it back in. I'll tinker again this weekend to clean it up. Sorry for the mess.

Many of the garden bloggers have switched over, with mixed results, so I'm still chickening out. I don't know if you comment on other blogs, but one side-effect seems to be that your previous posts no longer link to your blogger profile page. On the other hand, you can tag your posts, which lots of blog readers love.

Sometime when I delete things accidently, I can restore then using the wayback machine or google's cache.
Oh. Maybe that's why Bloglines indicated that you had 126 new posts. I thought sudden inspiration had struck.
Those software updates. "Fix one bug, compile again, 101 bugs in the code." (To the tune of 100 bottles of beer on the wall.)
