enchanted fall

In the autumn, we are joining friends on a trip to Italy, staying in a villa in the Tuscan countryside for a week.

Friday night we all got together and celebrated the upcoming trip with a lovely Italian meal on the back porch of a friend's home on the old North side of Indy.

The food was delicious, soloists provided Italian songs, and we became giddy in thinking about our trip.

This all is a result of saying for years, "Wouldn't it be fun to get a bunch of people to rent a villa together in Tuscany?"

Finally, somebody among us took the lead and organized this. We have spent the past several months exchanging guide books, picture books, and videos. I guess it really is going to happen.
