advent II

Yesterday was the second Sunday of Advent. I don't know if it was the lingering of the music from the night before, but it was the hymns we sang that spoke to me most, along with the opening chanting of the Magnificat.

How we want to hear about preparing the way, about leveling the hills and valleys. The music helped me much more than anything else in the worship prepare and look forward to Christmas.
