fourth year

This is my fourth year at this house, and the third that I have gardened at it. The first year I did not do anything, to see what I had, what grows in this colder and more alkaline soil. And I grieved over my last garden.

As it is finally starting to all fit together -- when I first started digging beds in different patterns out into the yard, one of my neighbor's asked if I was planting a maze -- I am happy that it is working for me, fairly close to how I visualized it back at the beginning.
