I do tell friends with a convert's zeal that they ought to start a blog. I've offered help in their getting started. It doesn't have to be too personal, too detailed. A blog is a conversation. I remind them that they have thoughts and experiences to share.

So far, none have take up my offer for help. But as long as the little golden age lives, I hope more folk take advantage of it. The blog world is, indeed, a gift full of surprises.
