snow compulsions

We've had the cold this winter, but now we get the snow. This morning they claim we got 3-4 inches of snow yesterday, and that we should get another 2-4 inches tonight.

Yesterday afternoon would have been a perfect time to shovel the driveway, but it was snowing much of that time. I had an early meeting this morning and didn't have a chance to shovel this morning.

So maybe tonight.

I am a bit compulsive about snow shoveling, due to my days in Iowa City in 1977 and 1978, blizzard years where once the snow fell it was there till April. Usually snow in Indy stays around at most for a couple of weeks (last winter was an exception).

Driving to work took about twice as long as usual, and a misting icy rain didn't help.
