Today is Ash Wednesday. Tonight a priest will mark a cross on my forehead from dried ashes, intoning the words from the Book of Common Prayer that will remind me of my mortality. And so begins Lent.
I am taking off from the blog for a few days. I am hopeful that I get my seeds planted in my garden and that I return cheerful and full of garden advice.
May each of you who observe this holy season find the time to be quiet, to pray and reflect. God bless all of you in your journey.
