conference

I landed in the middle of the national Episcopal communicators conference, being held at Kunaga, near Hendersonville and Ashville, North Carolina.

Partner is the pro and participant. I tagged on for walking, reading, knitting and just not thinking too hard.

I miss the lack of understanding of blogs, or connection to blogs. I try not to be to enthusiastic about this wonderful tool, but I have only heard three references to one blog where the author is not held in high esteem (and no, this is not Kendall Harmon's blog).

There is a brother from the Holy Cross Order who is now establishing a monastery in South Africa. Brother Andrew is leading the worship, and I've enjoyed his talks on the Benedictine rule, on prayer and listening.

The mountains and lake, tall trees and cool air are just what the doctor ordered.
