daylillies

It would be petty to not mention the lovely daylilies in full bloom.

My own somewhat frilly oranges, and a deep burgundy red, are trumpeting out color in spots of my garden. Even the lowly ditch lillies, or basic orange, that often are so derided, make a stunning presence along roads and fences, with their long, arching stems, and finely formed flowers.

I have seen several lemon yellow varieties this year as well.

Shelley -- I am slowly moving to getting pics on my page. Blogger has some deal with Help that allows folk like me to post on-line.

I will try to start illustrating. Your photos are powerful. Mine will be little digital snapshots.
