Mumcat has responded to Advent and its call to reflection, waiting and anticipating the coming of the Lord. She is wrestling with the Old Testament prophets, those eighth century BCE folk who challenged the religious and political culture of their day. I am grateful that she is sharing with us her discipline of reading Jeremiah.

Much of the music on Sunday was about stirring us up, and waking us up. In a season of some discontent, its very encouraging to hear the meditations of Mumcat and others.

Thanks for the kind words, Don. Much appreciated.

I have to confess that one of my very favorite CDs is from King's College, *Lessons and Procession for Advent Sunday* I like it far better than the L & C for Christmas. I've listened to it about 10 times already this season and probably will double that by the end of Advent. As for Jeremiah -- I'm getting to like the dude, seriously :)
