The City has spent three years or so improving the main street that runs past the townlet, across the White River past the Art Museum, across town to its east side. The stretch between the Art Museum and our main north/south street, Meridian, is almost complete, and includes a major stretch of planter boxes and beds, filled with perennials and trees.
I am surprised at how lovely it is starting to look, and how calming it is to drive through it. Who would have thought that a major roadway could look aesthetically pleasing.
