blinding

We are in the last part of the fall leaves turning their colors, but what it left is full of brilliance, clashing yellows and reds.

My more orderly neighbors had already tidily picked up leaves, making everything look neat and clean. But a storm blew through this weekend (causing deadly damage from a killer tornado further south of Indy), making the whole world a messy, littered snowscape of leaves, covering walkways, flower beds and grass.

Even the burning bushes this year are particularly vigorous in their deep red.
