Storm

The storm that passed through early Sunday morning, around two or so, was full of lightning and thunder, not usually seen or experienced here in ... November.

Given the experiences we had this summer, when lightning hit a powerline outside our bedroom window, I think it is safe to say that our entire household, man and animal, were awake off and on. As the storm first started, Franklin the dog made noises about getting out of his crate. I let him in bed, and he went back to sleep. In Sunday's sermon, Father Tom described the original meaning of the word comfort as being with one stronger. The dog certainly demonstrated that.
