I don't know why we think of autumn colors as only being brown, orange, red. Throw in a blue-whitish sky, and lots of sunshine, and you have an incredibly illuminated landscape, including blue from above and green on the ground.

Our frosts have been light, and the temps consistently mild and cool, making this to be a quite lovely fall. Looking outside, I am so tempted to do nothing but look. In too few days, the leaves will have fallen, and colder air will arrive.
