blue and gray

Driving to work this morning, the sky was clear blue, with a hint of cloud.

It has returned to the gray cover we had yesterday, the sky of midwestern winter. That kind of difference changes my mood almost instantly.

But with temps in the 40s (F), I am grateful for the opportunity to walk outside, and feel the briskness of cool air, as opposed to the hardness of frozen air and ground.
