garden work

Sunday, I ended up chopping and bagging all the tree limbs that in the front yard left over from pruning several weeks ago, or more recently by what ended up being two large limbs that fell last week during a storm.

I feel quite virtuous for getting these limbs finally bagged. My townlet neighbors are probably happy the eyesore of old tree limbs are gone.

Franklin was out on his tether in the yard while I worked, and provided good companionship. Sadly, he broke the ring connecting his tether to the post. He summoned this superdog strength to go chase an elderly neighbor and his elderly dog. I caught him and pulled him back before anyone was hurt. Scotties are very strong, and I will have to hook him to the tether post without the circular ring that lets him run around.

Except for barking at strange dogs, or snarking for rabbits and squirrels, he mostly stands guard looking up and down the street or just sits and watches me work.
