Warm temps heated up the spring blooms, and by Monday every tree that blooms, has or is -- the dogwoods are opening up now.
Gone are daffodils, and mostly forsythia. And the white pears. And the tulip trees. Cherries are diminishing. Crabs and redbuds are in full bloom. The landscape is dotted by various shades of purplish pink.
Holy Week is over, but the music and readings and prayers continue to echo in my head.
Today was breathtakingly perfect, a blue sky, slightly chilled air, the gentle beauty of the season.
